Nursing Scholarships

Family Planning NSW is proud to offer two scholarships to nursing professionals working in NSW enabling them to increase their theory and clinical skills in reproductive and sexual health through completion of the FPNSW Certification in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing).

McCarthy Green Scholarship - Apply before 31 January 2012

Funding up to $6,000

This scholarship will enable a Registered Nurse/Midwife working in an Aboriginal community in NSW to complete the FPNSW Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing), which is accredited by the Royal College of Nursing Australia. The clinical module can be completed in our centres in Sydney, Dubbo or Newcastle.

Tony McGrane Rural Scholarship - Apply before 31 January 2012

This scholarship will enable a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in rural NSW to fully complete the FPNSW Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing), which is accredited by the Royal College of Nursing Australia. The clinical module can be completed in our centres in Sydney, Dubbo or Newcastle.
