Family Planning NSW offers a variety of career development courses which are also nationally recognised.

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110)

The Certificate IV Training and Assessment TAE40110 develops the skills of individuals who design, deliver and assess training in the workplace in their field of expertise.

Presenting & Instructing in the Workplace (TAEDEL301A, BSBCMM401A)

This 3 day course will enable you to instruct and present with confidence. Develop skills to provide on the job learning to individuals and small groups in your workplace. Learn to plan, prepare and deliver captivating and  engaging presentations to different audiences.

Develop & Provide Community Education Projects(CHCCD402A)

This 2 day course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to work with the community to develop, deliver and review education projects on relevant issues.

Facilitating Groups (CHCICS405A)

This 2 day course is designed for community and health sector workers to develop the knowledge and skills needed to facilitate groups with confidence. Become an effective group leader by learning how to guide your group to acheive effective outcomes.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Family Planning NSW offers a supported formal recognition process for anyone who can demonstrate their existing experience in any of the skills and knowledge outlined in the courses above.  Please contact us to discuss your options.

Refunds Policy

Full refunds will be made if FPNSW cancels a course. Alternatively, at the participant’s request, fees can be transferred to another course being offered by FPNSW.  

For participants choosing to withdraw from a course, the following fees apply:

1. If more than two weeks’ notice is given: course fees will be refunded, less a $33 (GST inc) administration fee.

2. If less than two weeks’ notice is given: 50% of the course fee.

3. Withdrawal on the day of the course may incur a fee of 100% of the course fee.
