Apply NOW - Nursing Scholarships 2010

Family Planning NSW continually works to improve the reproductive and sexual health of the people of NSW. We achieve this by improving the knowledge and skills of service providers, providing demonstration clinical services, contributing and disseminating knowledge through original research and publications, developing strategic partnerships and health promotion activities.

We are proud to offer these annual scholarships as part of this commitment to nursing professionals of NSW. 

McCarthy Green Scholarship

Funding up to $6,000

This scholarship will enable a Registered Nurse/Midwife working in an Aboriginal community in NSW to fully complete the FPNSW Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing), which is accredited by the Royal College of Nursing Australia. The clinical module can be completed in our centres in Sydney, Dubbo or Newcastle.

Tony McGrane Rural Scholarship

Funding up to $6,000

This scholarship will enable a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in rural NSW to fully complete the Family Planning NSW Certificate Sexual and Reproductive Health (Nursing), which is accredited by the Royal College of Nursing Australia. The clinical module can be completed in our centres in Sydney, Dubbo or Newcastle.
