Head to Head Study

Are you thinking about getting an IUD or Implanon?

The Research team at Family Planning NSW was recruiting for a new study comparing implanon with a new low dose hormone-releasing intra-uterine system (LCS), similar to mirena.

The aim is to compare women’s satisfaction with these devices, and to evaluate bleeding patterns, discontinuation rates and side effects over a 12 month period.
