Health Promotion/Education Officer (CALD) P/T
FPNSW Fairfield
Part-time 21.2 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced professional who thrives on delivering innovative health promotion projects with a particular focus on Culturally and Linguistically Diverse groups. You will be responsible for managing health promotion projects, including community based campaigns, resource production, professional education and training, community or organisational capacity building and research.
Essential Criteria
- Degree qualifications in health promotion or education and at least 3 years' experience in a Health Promotion /
Education Officer role - Experience in client recruitment, health promotion and/or community development
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate community based and/or professional training courses
- Ability to manage projects and work within time frame and budget constraints
- Experience in working with relevant population groups, particularly those that are marginalised or have poor health status
- Good negotiation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team across multiple projects
- Knowledge of reproductive and sexual health as it impacts on relevant target groups
- Possess or willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Desirable
A full time remuneration package of $62,994 to $85,487 will be offered depending on qualifications, skills and experience, comprising salary, superannuation, leave loading and tax exempt benefits.
