Family Planning NSW answers questions about reproductive and sexual health over the phone and by e-mail. Our experienced nurses are available to answer your reproductive and sexual health questions from A to Z.

The Healthline phone service is located in Sydney and is open Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm. Calls to the Healthline number 1300 658 886 are charged at the cost of a local call within NSW (call costs may be higher from mobiles).

The information provided by Healthline should not be considered specific medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a second opinion. This is a confidential service, however if you are under 16 years old we are required by law to notify the relevant authorities if we believe you are at risk of harming yourself, at risk of harming someone else, or if you are at risk of harm or neglect including but not limited to sexual assault.

We are based in NSW, Australia and are only able to answer questions from people living in Australia.

All questions are answered by nurses who specialise in reproductive and sexual health. Healthline nurses have restrictions to only answer phone calls and emails about reproductive and sexual health. For questions about other health matters you will be referred to other service providers and resource centres.
