Course description

Refresh and update your knowledge and skills on cervical screening with this 1.5 hour webinar. Gain the latest information on the National Cervical Screening Program, followed by case discussions and a Q&A session. Led by one of our clinical experts, the webinar is updated every six months to keep you informed of changes in guidelines and practice.

 Content includes:

  • Epidemiology and public health aspects of HPV and cervical cancer
  • The new screening and management pathways for special consideration groups
  • Management guidelines for screen detected abnormalities

Update on the National Cancer Screening Register and the HPV Vaccination program

Who should attend?

Doctors, nurses and midwives who are currently practising cervical screening

1.5 hour webinar 

Eligibility / Prerequisite

Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia or Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. 



Recognition / Accreditation

Participants who attend the webinar will receive a Statement of Attendance.

RACGP Activity Number 156073, this activity is accredited for 3 Category 2 points, as part of the RACGP Quality Improvement & Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program in the 2017-2019 Triennium.

This course is equivalent to 1.5 hours to meet the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for CPD.
