Context

We are leaders in reproductive and sexual health clinical, education, health promotion and research services in Australia.

We utilise our expertise in the Pacific to strengthen health systems by building the capacity of non-government organisations and government services in:

  • Family planning
  • Cervical cancer screening and prevention,
  • Contraception,
  • Gender based violence
  • Comprehensive reproductive and sexual health education for communities, ranging from school students to clinicians

As an Australian registered training organisation (RTO), we deliver best practice education in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and our training meets relevant industry standards. Since 2006, we have delivered more than 507 courses to over 7,300 doctors, nurses, teachers, disability workers and community workers in NSW and 1,000 clinicians and community workers in the Pacific.

We utilise our expertise to provide customised capacity building to nurses, doctors and community workers to enable them to address local areas of reproductive and sexual health need. Our training covers a range of topics including contraception, sexually transmissible infections, pregnancy options, cervical cancer screening, menopause, sexuality and disability, sexual health education for primary or secondary schools as well as community education and group facilitation skill development.

If you would like to engage with us to provide customised training to your organisation, please contact us international@fpnsw.org.au to discuss your specific requirements.
