Our Policies and Guidelines
Our policies and guidelines demonstrate our commitments to transparency and accountability. This section outlines some of Family Planning Australia's policies:
Aboriginal Health Plan
FPA is committed to listening and working in respectful partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations to achieve practical reconciliation and address health disparities.
Our Aboriginal Health Plan builds upon the achievements of our previous Innovate Reconciliation Action Plans (2018-2020 and 2022-2024), which focused on enhancing staff cultural competency, strategic direction, engagement, and health promotion services.
The plan proposes tailored and strength-based approaches to improve reproductive and sexual health outcomes among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in NSW.
