Choice and Control: Yarning about Cervical Screening Tests Community Education Sessions
Free information sessions on cervical screening for Aboriginal women in Western NSW are being held by Family Planning NSW, supported by the Cancer Institute NSW.
Stay healthy for you and your family. Come have a yarn with other Aboriginal women about cervical screening.
Regular screening is the best way to prevent cervical cancer.
The sessions will look at:
- what cervical cancer is
- who needs to test and why it is important
- your testing options, including self-collection
- where to get a cervical screening test
Sessions will be catered, and you will receive a free information and resource pack.
