Key outcomes
Developed a 'train the trainer' program to support medical officers, nurses, allied health and other clinical staff to effectively implement the Ministry of Health and Medical Services family planning guidelines.
Delivered a four day Family Planning Trainers course to 22 Ministry of Health and Medical Services managers and senior staff.
A two part assessment process for family planning trainers was designed and utilised by Fijian assessors.
