Eligibility Check for Online Booking: Surgical Abortion
This quick assessment will determine if you are eligible to book online for a surgical abortion in our Day Surgery Unit. If you are not eligible to book online, the tool will guide you to the next steps for you to receive the care you need

Family Planning is experienced in providing care to young people and we will ensure you receive appropriate support and guidance throughout the process.
If you are between 14-16 years old
You will need a telehealth assessment with our nurse before proceeding.

If you are younger than 14
We cannot provide surgical abortion care, however you may be able to access medical abortion care through our clinics.

Pregnancy Duration Range
Based on your pregnancy gestation, additional steps may be required.
What This Means
We offer abortion care up to 14 weeks and 6 days.
If your pregnancy is too early: You may be unable to proceed at this time. We can advise you on the appropriate timing.
If your pregnancy is over 10 weeks: We may require further information before scheduling your procedure.
