Overview of Study

The purpose of this trial was to evaluate a "Truscan", a new tool for the detection of abnormal cells of the cervix. This is a "pen like" device which scans over the cervix to detect abnormal cells. It is completely painless.

Participants were any woman requiring a pap test. Each woman was given a Truscan, a pap test and a colposcopy (an examination under a microscope).
