Disability support workers play a critical rolein supporting people with intellectual disability with their health needs. However a lack of access to information and training on health topics can act as a barrier to providing effective support in these areas.
The Just Checking online learning program has been specifically designed for disability support workers to increase their knowledge and confidence in providing support to people with intellectual disability to access cervical, breast and bowel cancer screening.
The learning program includes content on cervical, breast and bowel cancer screening and gives you access to resources specifically developed to guide these conversations. These include:

- social stories with a glossary of words and their meanings
- support person's tool
- planning templates
